4.0 star ratingMy family and I were upgraded to premier rooms. The rooms were comfortable, comparable to a 4 star hotel. The only difference was there were no bathtubs. Having stayed in their standard room previously, I'd say its really a big difference in comfort :)The towels provided at the pool had holes in them. But I think the biggest issue was even during check-in time, there was only 1 person at the counter and it led to long waiting times and guests who came later got served first (as in my case).Mrs Raden02 April 2013
2.0 star ratingBreakfast was nice vide variety on buffet staff efficient.great pool.We never complain about any accomadation and we have travell a lot and stayed in backpacker to hotel. We weren't impressed with radius at all especially for what we paid.It took about 1/2 for check in at desk with lady didn't communicate if there was a problem or not just talking to co workers. Our room was average for a superior it had cockroaches mould on the shower curtain and tiles. No safety deposit boxes or Internet access in room as advertised.Poor Internet service only in foyer.Tv channels didn't work no reception.Matress you could feel the springs poking through and stains on sheets and pillow cases.I wouldn't exspect this from a hotel charging high rates.Wouldnt recommend this hotel. My husband and I were going to find somewhere else to stay although we knew we wouldn't get a refund.Mj15 May 2013

2.5 star rating It was in a great location and the staff were great. Food was okay for the price. We booked through Hoteltopia picture of the room on the site did not match the room as the room was outdated and terrible. Advertised a gym which was not there also Wi FI not to every room as stated. It is not great for a family and we will not stay there again but it is a cheap hotel and you for what you get.04 October 2013

4.0 star ratingExcellent location. Nice big rooms with big windows and views. Very comfortable beds and pillows. I stay there whenever I am in KL. And still will as I am comfortable there.Bit disappointed in the staff this time. No-one to help with bags. Arrived early because of last minute flight change......unlike many other hotels I have stayed in, they were unsympathetic although I had flown all night with no sleep they made me wait till 2pm although there were many people checking out and I offered to pay extra. When I expressed my disappointment they were nicer and more helpful.....but still had to wait!24 November 2013
3.5 star ratingI expected hell as I had read some terrible reviews on other sites. I was pleasently suprised that I was put, it seems to me, on a renovated 16. floor with new carpets and paint work. Still, you can not deny that it is an old building, but this is.a three star hotel and you can't expect paradise. Tje pool is fantastic and has a nice view to KL Tower. I dont think any three star hotel in city area has a pool. And trust me, it is better than the pool in 4 star hotel Melia where I stayed just before Radius. It is close to everything. It is a bit noisy during the night,l but I didn't mind it. I even didn't mind noise coming from the room next to me. It seems the couple coldn't control their passion :-))). The walls are a bit thin. Some of the staff don't act in professional way. For example, I was in a que waiting to be served, and some people were jumping the que and were served before me. Four people were served unfairly before me when I went off and started to yell at the receptionist. She looked so unmotivated. And a few times when I asked for some help from some of the staff, they didn't respond appropriately. All they had to say was OK. No smile, no action, no assurance that help will come...just OK.Tas27 February 2014

2.0 star ratingRooms allocated were not ready even it was past 2pm and it was via online booking. Room was not made when we returned to hotel at 4pm. It has to be fully renovated and it's really run down. I will and shall not recommend it to others since it does not have the standard of a hotel at all. FAIZAH06 February 2017
2.5 star ratingLocation for all shopping at main retail malls and fast food outlets, all within walking distance.. Wi Fi good and free well done hotel Hotel has smoking room s, well done hotel no discrimination. On guest who smoke..at night very noisy from nearby clubs and bars on same street loud music into the wee small hours. breakfast not very good , more catering to Asian market,,,food sometimes cold and the tea is like a Guinness stout , too strong no sun loungers at pool despite good area for relaxing in sun and swimming, Anonymous 07 February 2017

5.0 star ratingAs always, the staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The buffet breakfast is great. The room was spacious, quiet and very clean, with fantastic views of the city. The location is also great, right in the middle of Bukit Bintang. The Hotel Soleil is always our first choice when staying in KL.David Tucker09 July 2016
4.5 star ratingWe always try and stay at the Soleil when visiting KL. It is well located in Bukit Bintang. Central and handy to the best food and shops and public transport. The staff are all very friendly and helpful also. Our kids love the swimming pool and the buffet breakfast. The curries they serve at breakfast time are especially good specimens. The only downside to the Soleil are the rooms on the lower levels facing the street. They get a lot of street noise, which is extreme on weekends as it is an entertainment zone with lots of music and people shouting. These rooms also don't have Wifi in the room, although it is still available in the lobby. My tip is to ask for a room on the upper levels (level 16?) away from the street side of the building.Anonymous 21 July 2016
