2.0 star ratingVery cheap accommodation in Legian, and Avoid at all costs. Horrible, horrible experience with hotel management. They're incompetent and liars. The front desk staff are unprofessional, incompetent, and liars. I had a reservation which required me to pay at the hotel. They tried to charge me 20% more than what my reservation was for. I had my confirmation email stating very clearly the exact amount to be paid to the hotel, and they had some other email drawn up that included the amount that they have to pay Hotelopia for the reservation, and they tried to pass the fee on to me. The lady at the front desk did not listen to me at all and insisted I was wrong After much back and forth with staff members, they "called" Hotelopia and said Hotelopia said it was my responsibility to pay the fee, then get a refund from Hotelopia. I called them on their bluff and said to get them on the phone, which they couldn't do. I read through the internal billing email once again, and there was a line, again clear as day, saying "FINAL AMOUNT TO BILL THE CUSTOMER: XXX" and they still didn't believe me. After a few more phone calls, they finally agreed to the price which was in my reservation confirmation and in their internal billing emails. The entire ordeal was almost an hour, and I wasted too much time with them. I was so frustrated by the entire situation, and called the guy on his lie. HE ADMITTED TO LYING TO ME. He didn't even apologize! He just basically said, "Eh, you know.." They're crooks. Also, the Wifi in the rooms is completely horrible. If you can even connect, you'll probably be better off mailing letters than sending emails as NOTHING can download from the rooms. Much better places to stay in the area.
