5.0 star ratingSuperb hotel. Really good price for a NYC hotel. Rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean. Huge rooms with walk in closets, kitchenette area, flat screen TV. Location was excellent - close to subways and sightseeing. Information leaflets in the lobby were readily avaialble and well stcoked. Staff were very friendly. Didin't try the breakfast - but there are plenty of eating places around. We were on 10th floor overlooking street and there was very little noise either at night or early morning. Hotel lift a little slow (and no floor/lift arrival indicator outside of the lift - so you never knew if it was about to arrive. Used the stairs a lot because of this). room decoration is a little tired and needs updating but the rooms were spotlessly clean so it made no difference really - and we weren't in it enough to worry about it - beautiful furnishings though that left you in no doubt that you were in a New York hotelkatingmum01 November 2010
