4.5 star rating	From the moment we had our door open from the taxi it was bliss, the friendliness and welcome we received by him and by the receptionist. Nothing was a bother, arrived appox. 8am and they rushed to provide us with a room.(a long flight prior) The decor was breathe taking. The service throughout our stay was second to none. 5.0 star rating	We decided to treat ourselves for the last night of our holiday and stay at The Fullerton. We certainly weren't disappointed. The staff were excellent, really helpful and going out of their to be of assistance. The room was huge by Singapore's standards with the added benefit of free wi-fi which was a bonus and the breakfast was really good with plenty to choose from and the food was a good quality. The staff were also really good about looking after our bags as we had a late flight and let us take a shower and use the pool before we set off which made a big difference. Yes, the food and drink can be a bit pricey but you would expect that for a 5 star hotel. Overall, I would no hesitation in recommending this hotel.		Jimbob	25 January 2011

4.5 star rating	Location - right near the Merlion, a few steps to MRT! Staff - all are friendly, professional, and giving good tourist information! Breakfast - Town restaurant, enjoy the breakfast sitting next to the Singapore River. plenty of choices! 4.5 star rating	The attention to detail was exceptional. (My birthday was noted and celebrated, which was indeed, humbling and a lovely touch). Your Duty manager was exceptionally helpful and patient (our safe in the room was playing up so he came twice to assist). The same gentlemen, Shaun, was on hand for check out the following day and made us both feel very comfortable and rather important.	Not really a negative, however the rooms are verging on a little tired... but with the great service, views, attention to detail, assistance with our safe and the birthday greetings i would recommend the Fullerton to all. 4.5 star rating	staff were excellent. exceptionally courtesy and polite without being intrusive. room was gorgeous. I would recommend having a drink in the Lighthouse looking at the water/light show. truly memorable. Afternoon tea in the lobby also looked gorgeous. I thoroughly enjoyed the free tour the hotel provided, lead by Florence. Both funny and informative. I also loved the huge breakfast buffet - incredible food choice from around the world and the mobile phone the hotel provided guests with, which meant we could use google maps when out and about, dial local mobile phone numbers and look up opening hours etc. while on the go. I would recommend this hotel unreservedly.	The panel, that controlled the lights and curtains in our room malfunctioned on our final night. My preference would be for light switches near the door that you can control by hand and curtains that you can also close by hand. while I like the idea of having a device beside my bed that controls the room's ambience, it didn't work particularly well for us. 5.0 star rating	Every staff member made us feel welcome from the bell boys to the housekeeping staff. It's the little things that made the stay special, on check-in the receptionist noticed it was my husbands birthday during our stay and on the day of his birthday a cake arrived in our room. 3.5 star rating	Fantastic staff, prompt service. The hotel is located about 5 minutes to Raffles Place MRT and walking distance to Boat Quay and other attractions. The room was spacious, with high ceilings and the bed was very comfortable. Free wifi was a bonus as was the Smart phone provided in the room. The buffet breakfast was extensive with Continental, Japanese as well as local options to suit most guest.	The room was very dated and in need of urgent refurbishment. The furniture was shabby.
