Hotel Overview

Located directly on the elegant Avinguda del Paral.lel, this modern hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the famous Ramblas. It features a rooftop terrace with outdoor pool and fantastic views over the roofs of Barcelona. A large variety of boutiques and shops is in the vicinity, MontjuÃ¯c, Port OlÃmpic, PlaÃ§a de Catalunya, Gran Teatre del Liceu and the old town Barri GÃ²tic are within a short stroll. There are 4 different room types in the hotel. Standard Rooms are very quiet with views from the window to inner patio, Superior Rooms with natural daylight from the window and Privilege Rooms located on the highest floors with spanning panoramic views of the whole city from the window. The fourth room type are Triple Rooms that can accomodate up to three adults.All room types accept free of charge a baby under 2 years old when a minimum of one adult stays in the room.

4.0 star rating	Room on 8th floor excellent; fine views from top of hotel; pool & sun deck a bonus. Excellent location - would go again.	We changed our room after the first night because it opened out an inner courtyard which we found claustrophobic; also it was very noisey as a main water down pipe went through the room from all the bathrooms above!		04 October 2008

5.0 star rating	The hotel was excellent. Room really good size, very clean and bed really comfortable. We did not eat at the hotel so unable to comment on the food, but judging by everything else, I am sure would have been very good. The pool, solarium and gym were excellent - so wonderfully clean and such a bonus to have. We really enjoyed our stay, would love to go back and recommend to all.			09 June 2009
4.5 star rating	Helpful and pleasant staff. Comfortable beds and spotless rooms. The quality and variety of the breakfast buffet was excellent.	When we first visited the hotel we had a down pipe in the corner of our windowless inside room and could hear the plumbing noises from rooms above us. On our subsequent visit we were lucky enough to be given a front view room without the noise of the pipe. The price of the breakfast buffet was too high and on our last visit we eat outside the hotel for half the cost.		23 September 2009

4.0 star rating	Trevlig och serviceinriktad personal. Mycket bra frukostbuffe. Centralt lÃ¤ge, 5-10min promenad till Ramblan. Mysig pool pÃ¥ taket.	Vi bodde tvÃ¥ personer i ett dubbelrum men fick endast tvÃ¥l/tandkrÃ¤m etc. fÃ¶r en person varje dag sÃ¥ vi blev tvungna att frÃ¥ga efter mer hela tiden. Om ni bor hÃ¤r ta med eget schampo och egen tandkrÃ¤m etc. I badrummet lÃ¤ckte det ut vatten pÃ¥ golvet frÃ¥n badkaret nÃ¤r man dushade.	Par pÃ¥ semester	10 August 2012

4.5 star rating	Lovely staff, particularly in the bar and on the roof terrace. Food was good, loved the breakfast. The food was plentiful, of good quality and fresh and the staff were attentive in ensuring the area was kept clean at all times. The roof terrace was really lovely to have a drink and relax at the end of a busy day sightseeing. Rooms were of a good size. Location was good close to the metro and within walking distance of many attractions.	The rooms need a little more thought. The mirror was positioned in a dark area by the door with no plug point close by, so not good for using straighteners or applying make up. The TV and the kettle shared a single plug point, so you couldn't boil the kettle and watch the TV at the same time! Bathroom was a bit tired, sink was cracked and the bath was also badly marked. Our room was cleaned very late in the day, so when we returned to the hotel in the late afternoon, it was being cleaned on both days. Would be good to have a decaf option of coffee in the room.
