2.5 star ratingCentral location.1. Reception staff very surly and unhelpful. Also level of English spoken by them was very poor. 2. Very small reception area - no lounge, no bar/coffee shop. 3. Room with a double bed was pre-paid but we were given a twin room; reception said this could not be changed as current guests had priority. Have never before stayed in a hotel that did not have a double room waiting. 4. Arrived at hotel approx 7 am after flight from London. Were told we couuld not get a room until 2 pm. When asked what they suggest we do until then, reception said "just walk around". 5. At 7 am I asked if we could get a coffee from breakfast room. We were told that we would have to pay the full breakfast rate. 6. We will not stay in this hotel again and will not recommend it to friends and colleagues. Overall it was a very negative experience, probably one of the worst we have had in a hotel.RayM01 November 2012
5.0 star ratingPublic area staff were extremely helpful (sometimes too much, like rushing to push an elevator button, or open a door) and friendly. Rooms and showers were compact, but bigger than in many Hong Kong hotels. Rooms had large windows. Extremely convenient location to harbor/metro/shopping areas/dining options. Fantastic view from 40th floor observation area.None.Ed15 December 2012

5.0 star ratingSuper friendly staff at all levels; housekeeping especially efficient. Excellent buffets. Great hotel location for most activities, if one likes being in a city center area (Kowloon). Convenient access to metro, buses, trains, ferries. Hong Kong hotel rates are much higher than 10 years ago, but this one is still a good value.None.Ed14 December 2013
4.0 star ratingProfessional. Clean. Great location. Comfortable. When booking the silver room (cheapest) website states 2 singles OR double..This is false, when I arrived I was told double beds are not an option for this room type..I had to pay extra for the upgrade..they did say that wifi was complementary with the upgrade due to the inconvenience, my brothers upgraded to king size beds, both being over 6ft tall only to find out when they went to bed it was just two singles pushed together...so beware when booking king size beds. Overall i enjoyed most of the experience but when i return i will stay elsewhere.Anonymous 14 May 2014

4.5 star ratinggreat views ideally situated for mtr, the manager Raymond was really professional lovely irish man made us really welcome.. although the staff in the executive lounge was nice and friendly the staff in the restaurant could have been more helpful but as it seems to go in Hong Kong customer service is not a priority. john and debbie16 November 2015
2.5 star ratingLocation is great and hotel was selected because of its location. The 40th floor was the best feature of this hotel. Rooms not clean. Never vacuumed. Dust in corners of room and class windows. The ceiling has food stuck to it which could have been cleaned off. Coffee cups were not cleaned properly. Overall I would say cleanliness needs to improve. Wifi access had to be paid for eventhough the rest of HKG offers free wifi. The lobby area where free wifi was offered had people lounging about whilst guests were checking in. Main restaurant was off the check in area and the smell was very off putting. Hotel food - over priced. Staff not friendly at all and concierge not helpful. I would rate this hotel 3 stars at the most which is saying something as I have been in 3 star hotels with great service. Obviously this is not important to the hotel. I smile would go a long way. 3 weeks to have security deposit returned??? Really ???Anonymous 16 July 2016
3.0 star ratingStaff were professional, great location and good priceBedsheets had stains and a hole in them. Booked a double bed but was given two singles and told that they don't ever have double beds in the silver deluxe rooms? Told us to consult Hotelopia instead of helping. Anonymous 30 May 2016
3.0 star ratingFront desk and Housekeeping team is wonderful. Polite and helpful. Some of the ground floor conceirge staff are generally unhelpful, and have no initiative to offer help. And they are expressionless. It would be better for them to tuck in their white polo shirt, to look more professional too. I would appreciate if they had offer more help, for eg, helping to carry the luggages. Anonymous 24 June 2016
3.0 star ratingClose to MTRRequested for non smoking room. Was told room was non smoking but the minute I opened the door , the room stinks of cigarettes. Had to go back downstairs to change room . No service staff came with me to help with the change. Unable to use handy phone . Front desk hv to return phone to supplier to check . When phone was replaced , not able to use outside of hotel - loading signal all the time . Anonymous 17 April 2016
