4.5 star ratingExcellent value for money, very impressed with the standard of the hotel - great facilities and well maintained.Location wise it is less central than some other hotels but this is reflected in the price i'm sure.05 October 2008
5.0 star ratingclean, nice, modern and good price for a hotel. There is a shuttle bus from and to HK Airport which is really good for the traveler. The room, shower and toilet is big and clean compared to the other hotel in HK with the similar price. The staff is very helpful and nice. The have shuttle bus running every 30 minutes from the hotel to the nearest station. The hotel itself actually is very close to the shopping district, Women Street. I would highly recommend it to people whoever what to stay in a nice hotel with limited budget. The facility in the room are all equipped well and they even provide you a mobile phone to use during your stay, wow! 10 out of 10 and I would definitely stay in the hotel again. Nothing.Kes16 July 2015
3.0 star ratingRoom was poor and whole floor smelt musty. Had to get cleaner engineer to attempt to overcome. Booked hotel for the swimming facility but was closed all the time we were there.Anonymous 04 February 2017
4.5 star ratingSituated in Kowloon close to the markets, the Metropark Kowloon is ideal for visitors, particularly if they take advantage of the Club Room offer which entitles guests to free breakfast in the restaurant, free snacks and drinks between 5.30 and 7.30 pm, and checkout at 3 pm on the day of departure. Staff were very friendly and courteous. We valued the free courtesy bus that took us to and from the waterfront at Tsim Sha Tui, from where it is a very short walk to view Victoria Harbour, take the Star Ferry, and pick up bus and MTR services and visit attractions such as the Chinese Cultural Centre, the Chinese Space Centre, and the Garden of Stars. Efficient and clean. Things ran on time. The air conditioning was fierce, but controllable. I enjoyed the roof top swimming pool.My biggest complaint is about the food. As a coeliac needing a medically prescribed gluten free diet, it was very difficult to sustain this in Hong Kong as a whole, and impossible to explain to catering staff. Fortunately, breakfast was a buffet where I could choose what I ate, although I had to take my own gluten free bread and trust that it wouldn't get contaminated in the communal toaster. This was only possible because I had upgraded to Club Room status. I ate only one evening meal in the hotel, because of cost. This was a buffet, and I was able to choose what I ate and avoid what I couldn't. I was provided with salad and fruit at the evening 'Happy Hour,' but had to raid sandwiches for protein content, leaving the bread on the counter, as I couldn't make the staff understand what I needed. I'm glad I'm not a coeliac at the extreme end of the spectrum. I bumped into the manager who knew all about gluten free but hasn't been able to pass on essential information to catering staff. There was nowhere to go to just have a cup of tea and sit down unless you had subscribed to the club room option. Seating was very limited both at Reception and in the waiting area on the ground floor.Sue Hutton03 May 2017
5.0 star ratingVery affordable and flexible arrangements. On thel last day we opt for late check out as our flight is at night. They offer us a special price to extend our room and did the usual house keeping. Located near a lot of food and marts hence you don't need to worry about going hungry. The hotel can arrange transportation at $110HKD per pax which is cheaper than airport express HKD$170 whereby you still need to change 3 times and walk 10min to the hotel. Cab is HKD$250, so large groups should take cabs. There's a Japanese mini store right at the back of the hotel which serves super fresh and value for money takeaways sashimi. We were at the non-smoking level and there was a group of Chinese men opening their doors and smoking the whole corridorJenxel10 July 2016
4.5 star ratingThis was our third stay at the Metropark Hotel, Kowloon and again it met our expectations and requirements. We stayed on the Metropark Club Floors which enabled us to have breakfast, evening drinks and snacks between 5.30 and 7.30 pm inclusive. Management and Staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. We find one of the major pluses is the roof top swimming pool. There is also a fitness room on this level. There is a regular shuttle bus service to and from the harbour. Would certainly stay here again. No significant negatives just a point that in the bathroom there is a smell of stale cigarette smoke that comes from the air vents. This will hopefully be eradicated when the hotels becomes 100% non smoking in January 2017.Billy Wiggs05 December 2016
