4.5 star rating	New hotel with modern design, friendly and helpful staff at the reception and lobby (at the entrance). It offer plenty of benefits for MAS-card holders. Thanks a lot for the help with my request concerning soundproof room and upgrade for 7-th floor. Good location with walking distance from many cultural attractions (like Dubai Creek, Dubai Museum, Heritage village, Bastakiya, etc.), free parking space and beautiful pool terrace with view to city skyscarpers and Burj Khalifa. Wide choice of different facilities: restaurants, bars, night club, SPA, even free shuttle bus to Jumeirah Beach. The hotel was recenty open and still have some moments which need to improve, but anyway we had a nice stay and think to come back.	Restaurants: breakfast area very small and can't accommodate all guests, so you need to wait a free table in lobby. Breakfast quite poor for 5* hotel, but if use MAS-card it worth the price. The music at evening in Titanic restaurant was very noisy and not comfortable for dinner. Signature restaurant was ok, but waiters could be little bit more attentive. Also pity that such a new and nice decorated hotel already looks not fresh: many scratches and small damages everywhere in the room and corridors and nobody care about it. 3.0 star rating	Reasonable breakfast.	Good infrastructure.... But poorly maintained. Furniture chipped and the wooden floor dusty and had not seen polish in a while. Terrible location and entry to the Hotel. Had requested adjoining rooms well in advance and since had prepaid the full charges in advance should have got them. However had to compromise and stay in rooms 714 and 715. Out of which one was without a shower . Despite repeated requests the room was not changed. So had to go to the Gym Locker Room to shower. Getting a taxi was a nightmare .... The concierge insisted that the only Taxis available were the non-metered hotel Taxis which overcharged. But had no option but to take them as due to the bad location of the Hotel there was nothing else available.	Bharat	06 May 2015
4.0 star rating	The room is a good size and the staff in the main very friendly (see remarks about the rooftop pool area)	The hotel has just turned the rooftop pool area into a restaurant and bar. Sadly the staff don't appear to know when dealing with residents how to deal with them. They gave conflicting advice about what drinks you could have at what time of the day. The pool is open until 8pm but the restaurant opens around 7pm, but the staff start turning the pool area into the restaurant from 5pm. Sadly as a resident using the pool area we were made to feel an inconvenience to the restaurant staff. The lifeguard seemed embarrassed. Hotel also aiming at the Russian clients with their nightclub. 5.0 star rating	We all loved our stay at Melia Hotel. We were upgraded to a suite which was a fantastic and large room with a bathtub and super shower cubicle. 4.5 star rating	The staff was very nice and helpful. Specially staff who help you to get regular taxi. They were very smiley and always there for help guests. We had a bery nice stay at your hotell. The atmosphere was peaceful and lovely.		Anonym	28 September 2015

4.5 star rating	Impressive hotel, great service, rooms are superior and spacious.	Food and drink are ridiculously overpriced and of low quality - hummus dip with 4 tiny pieces of bread (more at additional cost) and mai tai cocktail was so sickly sweet it was basically undrinkable.
