4.5 star rating	The driver who picked us up at the airport was so lovely, even when we were late (he had to wait an hour and was still pleasant and smiling) When we arrived, we were welcomed with the drink - which was refreshing, all the staff were lovely and professional, the girl that served us at the start we saw throughout our stay, and always had a big smile (she was the best! I wish I asked for her name!) The cleaning staff were also lovely, and always smiled - all staff did, which felt welcoming. The breakfast was very nice, the male cook made excellent scrambled eggs! The options were good, only thing for me was that there were no hashbrowns (but I probably have enough of those!) otherwise always had a great selection. Aparently the croissants were a little frozen/stale some days and needed better warming up? Such a small thing though. I loved the room service, I would say it's reasonably priced, I liked the Margarita Pizza and sometimes the chef would include a little plate of hot chips - yum! Adds a nice touch, like getting really good value. The pool is the highlight, from the minute we saw it, it made it feel like a real holiday - it utilises the space well and has been tastefully decorated - I really think the architect has made a beautiful pool area. The location is fairly central, about 5 minutes to the beach, a bit further to get to Jungceylon (15minutes). My boyfriend went to Maximum Gym during our stay which was about a 15-20minute walk along the beach.	Not much except the rack to wash your hands on the hand towel was positioned over the bath so you had to lean - hardly anything bad! And would have liked hashbrowns at breakfast, but they did have a 'One Day Potatoe' hot dish with some herbs that were a nice alternative! Loved their guava juice..heard some reviews complain about the breakfast, but I'm pretty fussy about food and had no problems with selection! Our only problem was that I forgot what day we checked out until that morning and wanted to extend the stay but would have had to pay full price for the room we were upgraded to (Pool View instead of City view) which was 2800baht per night! They weren't aware of the Hotelopia pay 4 nights, get 4 free offer and would only discount the room an extra 20% - which was nice of them, but not within our budget! So it's really great value if you get a good deal, but otherwise you gotta be rich! (sigh!)	Bec	14 July 2013

3.0 star rating	Pool is nice. Location is central. Some staff members were very professional. This was nice.	Furniture is very old in the rooms. The city view rooms are exposed to the loud street music. Cleaning staff do not replace used consumables. The understanding of english is average.	John Snow	06 January 2017
