4.0 star rating	The renovated rooms are very nice, as is the well-equiped fitness center.	Hotel lacks the buffet breakfast that you normally expect in this class of hotel: the choices offered are Starbucks in the lobby or an overpriced a la carte restaurant. There can be long queues to check in/out. Wifi in rooms costs $13/day.		09 December 2012
3.5 star rating	Good central location	Staff check-in (although polite), could not be bothered telling me about other rooms that I could pay to upgrade to. So, as a person travelling alone, that felt very impersonal and I did feel like a number not a customer.		27 May 2013

1.5 star rating	Location at union square, that's about it.	Very bad, there is no it's a 4 star hotel (0n internet), 3 to 3.5 star the most. Clients have to carry own luggage at check-in!! Porters just stand around! Long queue at check-in, nobody bothers to open up more counters when there is a long queue, very noisy, had to upgrade to get my reservation request, NO breakfast facilities, bad dining, BLACKSTONE (private equity firm owns it, just interested in cost cutting		16 September 2013
5.0 star rating	Smooth check in, only had to wait a couple of minutes. Offered a room on the 22nd floor of Tower 1 with a great city view. Rooms very spacious with flat screen TV and tea/coffee facilities. Staff were extremely pleasant. Yes, it's a big hotel and the lobby can be very busy, but I still felt that I was treated as a guest and not just a number. Location is great for the BART (for SF airport) and all MUNI transport (buses and cable cars). The area around the hotel felt fine, although there are a lot of beggars which may make some people uncomfortable - however, we found that wherever we went in downtown SF or Fisherman's Wharf - it's not limited just to the Hilton by any means. I would definitely stay at the Hilton again if I am in SF on a future holiday.	Only had food/snacks from the Starbucks in the Lobby as the breakfast and dinner menus were more expensive than eating out. Starbucks was slightly more expensive than regular Starbucks, one of which was just one block away. Other than that, nothing but a positive experience.	Adam H	06 October 2013
