3.5 star ratingReception, bar and food areas very good and staff well trained for their roles. I am a Senior Railway Engineer with responsibilitities throughout Europe, including the Madrid to Barcelona new route. So the photographs of the old steam trains were an excellent feature.The big disappointment was the room. I am a non-smoker and the strong smell of smoke was unbearable and the so called 'air conditioning' was in fact the hot, stale and dirty air being recirulated in a room where the windows cannot be opened. The decoration of the room was also very poor. Neither my wife or myself had any sleep during the two nights at your hotel.16 October 2008
