5.0 star rating	Beautiful, modern hotel, extremely helpfull & friendly staff. excellent value for money. although not in the centre of barcelona it was close to the beach & very close to the metro station, central barcelona 10 minutes on the metro. i would highly recommend this hotel & would not hesitate to stay there again.			24 September 2008
4.5 star rating	The hotel is very clean and the staff were very helpful and polite. This made the trip to Barcelona much more enjoyable knowing that the hotel and staff were providing a high quality service.	I would not say that we have negative points of view, but i would like to suggest a more varied menu within the hotel restaurant. If you are vegetarian or a non eater of red meat then there is not much to choose from.		27 September 2008

5.0 star rating	nice room, bed very good, , , pool small but good enough, good neighbourhood with shops, restaurants, coffeebars, nice 10 min walk to the beach, metro nearby, ignore the roofs and look stread ahead to the see.	curtains little bit dirty, could hear neighbours sometime, expensive breakfast, pool litle bit uncosy because of no green at all, shokking few but you get used to that	mother and daughters	18 July 2013
4.0 star rating	Hotel is a fair distance from Barcelona centre but very close to the Metro station and just â¬2 journey. The hotel is modern and clean, the room was well proportioned and had effective air conditioning. We found Rambla de Poblenou around the corner which has cafe's, restaurants and shops in abundance so no need to travel daily into town for the highly commercialised (and expensive) La Rambla - go for the atmosphere but you can find all souvenirs on Rambla de Poblenou at half the price.. Staff were very helpful, professional and courteous, they all spoke good English but were patient when we tried to speak Spanish. Despite the few negative comments (below), we enjoyed our stay and would return to stay there again in the future.	The Gym is very sparse, we specifically chose a hotel with a gym and were very disappointed, it has one treadmill, one elliptical trainer, an exercise bike, a very tired multi-gym and just two pairs of dumbbells (9 kg's and 10 kg's). If you want to run, the beach is just 5 mins away and full of people of every age and size running, roller-blading or cycling so go there and enjoy the view. The roof-top pool is lovely, great sun-worship areas, nice dip pool and a shaded area, however it is far too small for all the guests, if you don't get there early you'll not get a sun lounger - find a space on the concrete floor and lie on your towel! Hotel restaurant is expensive, 2 mins walk away Ramble de Poblenou is much better with wide range of choice and atmosphere.	twowheelie	16 August 2013

2.5 star rating	Breakfast buffet was good	Complete chaos, even though we requested either an interconnecting room or two rooms next to each other as we have a disabled son who needs attention when he has a seizure, we were told at first there was no note then magically the note turned up, they then offered two rooms on different floors, you can see where this is going, no understanding of the situation what so ever, finally after a lot of discussion got two rooms next to each other, staff very unwelcoming to some extent rude and arrogant. Early check in does not exist as we were told the rooms would take up to two hours to prepare. When we finally got the room we had no porter to help with luggage, lifts were very small The rooms were simple, more like a hostel with hospital beds on wheels, the bathroom was just about with the shower hanging off the wall and the fixings coming off, and the air conditioning was not working, it was on or off and when on it was blowing warm air, at 32 degrees not what you need. The mini bar was not even working, having requested some repairs to this a technician turned up, changed the mini bar and insisted that the air conditioning will take time to work, trust me after four days it still wasn't working. The room had no information booklet and when requested was told that the information booklet was at the printers as they were having new booklets made.When I complained about their facility and service, Overall had i not paid in advance I would have abandoned my booking with this hotel, I found that the service and facilities offered were worse than a hostel far from been advised that they are a four star hotel. I think in future payment should be made at the end of the stay and a deposit taken to secure the booking, i would have happily given up the deposit so that our holidays wasn't ruined by such an establishment, also note that even though they promote that they are disabled friendly, thats just words and nothing more. 3.5 star rating	The breakfast was nice, lots to choose from. The hotel has quite a modern theme, and was pretty clean.	We had to wait 2 hours for an iron the come to our room. The view from our room wasn't very nice, and the smell when we opened our window was horrific. The swimming pool was closed during our stay which was a shame. The reception staff were all quite rude. Everytime we had to go see them for something they would be on the phone whilst we were just left standing there. During checkin we wasn't told much about check out times, or where the bar is, what time is closed, plus none of this information in our room, so all of which we had to ask the lovely reception staff for..! 4.5 star rating	It was a very nice hotel. very nice staff and the location was really good. Its right next to a street full of restaurants in the evening but its still quiet enough to get some sleep. If you walk to the bottom of that street between 5 - 10 mins there is a nice beach. The rooms were good: air con was awesome.	Room : There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room Fridge didnt work my water was never cold. Location: The metro station can be a little difficult to find, llacuna metro stop is nearby however, once you know where it is its definatly easier.	li	11 July 2015
