This hostel is situated only 2 km from the city center, well located to enjoy the town's attractions and activities. This modern hostel is in the vicinity of popular city attractions such as Skatehalle Berlin, Frankfurter Tor, and SamariterstraÃe Railway Stations. In the vicinity, there is a plethora of bars, boutiques and restaurants, and tours of Berlin's sights can be booked at reception. This is the ideal place to appreciate the bustling German capital.This hostel is a group house. It could be possible that you will get a room with more beds than booked (quad instead of twin). We do not charge any extra costs.The city of Berlin in Germany introduced a new city tax. This tax is levied on all visitors depending on the type of accommodation chosen.

2.0 star rating		Abflussrohr lief quer durch unser Zimmer; obwohl wir ein Doppelbett gewÃ¼nscht hatten wurde uns ein Zimmer mit 2 Dreifach-Stockbetten gegeben, die so niedrig waren, dass man sich nichtmal auf sein Bett setzen konnte. 2.5 star rating	clean bedding and good tourist location	I have booked 2 bed room with the shower and toilet but when arrived i was told i will get a 6 berth prison cell and the shower was not working - although I have been told the problem with the shower was reported the day ealier , I had to change the room for another 6 berth cell and guess what the room next to me was the one which I have booked and empty - 2 proper beds. No explanation was given why i wasn't offered that room in the first place - the whole issue is I had undergone a neurosurgical operation on my back and cannot get to bank bed, I have only made reservation on-line after seeing the photos of the 2-bed room - otherwise I would book another hostel- why there is no mention to begin with that the 2 room beds are only serving as the bites for the tourists ? when you actually arrive then you have to take what is there and believe in the receptionist's stories that all the room were already taken - then it means there were actually overbooking and wehen I was placing my reservation on line there was a message saying there a 2 twinn bed rooms left , so please please, make sure from the beggining of your arrival at this hostel you are getting what you have paid for.	kaska	25 October 2013
4.5 star rating	Firstly, the location couldn't have been better. There were U and S Bahn stops within easy walking distance, a street-tram stop right at the end of the street, and even a bus right in front of the hostel. The whole neighborhood was full of cafes, restaurants, and bars. We were walking distance from the East Side gallery and other neat things too! The staff were friendly, helpful, and very nice. They were also profficiently bilingual. My mother felt comfortable asking them about the neighborhood even though she doesn't speak a word of German. We booked a double room with en suite bathroom. The room was pretty much exactly what was promised on the website. The beds were more than long enough for someone six feet tall, the blankets were warm and comfortable, and the sheets were crisp and freshly laundered. It wasn't luxury, but that also wasn't promised. Housekeeping emptied the wastebasket while we were out, too. If you are on a budget and looking for somewhere clean and safe in a good location, this is a great place to book.	I was not prepared that our two beds would be bunk beds. Not a big deal, but it would have been nice to know ahead of time. Also, even though the bathroom was sparkling clean, there was a crack in the grout at the wall of the shower, so the shower leaked the floor. The staff was kind enough to give me an extra towel to put on the floor, but that needs to be taken care of. Don't bother with the breakfast. It isn't anything special, and there are so many adorable cafes in the neighborhood where you can get something much better for the same price.		08 October 2013

1.5 star rating	Nice staff. Helpful.	The wifi does not work in the rooms. There was almost no cleaning for a week. I booked a single room but they put me in a room for 6 (empty of course). If you are a traveller and don't care about sleep this is fine but for an adult who has business in the city this was aweful.	Anonym	01 September 2015

4.0 star rating	Åwietna lokalizacja. Bardzo blisko do przystanku tramwajowego, skÄd szybko moÅ¼na dojechaÄ do S-Bahn i U-Bahn. I do centrum tylko 5 przystankÃ³w. Gorzej byÅo z ciszÄ nocnÄ. Okropny haÅas i krzyki do 2 w nocy i od 6 rano znowu. Czyli zero snu praktycznie. Nikt z pracownikÃ³w nie interweniowaÅ. JeÅli ktoÅ musi rano jechaÄ w dalszÄ drogÄ to nie polecam. 2.5 star rating	In a OK place, close to Alexander platz. 2 sbhan stops away.	No wifi. You have to pay and won't even work in your room. Have to pay for lockers. No kitchen to make your own food. And the common room isn't even a common room itw just the reception. Also not allowed alcohol in the hostel or there is a fine. So all in all would never stay at this hostel again. Ist cheap yes but then they do not give you the other facilities that you need and want. They make you pay for it.	Anonymous	31 July 2016
4.0 star rating	The hotel is well localized next to restaurants, train/bus stations, and supermarkets. It is also clean and organized and the staff is friendly and helpful. I would stay there again due to the facility of accessing the major touristic attractions in Berlin.	I would reccomend this hotel for a budget trip to Berlin, since regarding the comfort it is not the best choice. Beds are quite uncomfortable and the showers are locker-room style, not individual cabins. The room I chose was quite hot because of the summer, but nothing really unbearable. The internet connection was the worst point because of frequent disconnections and it wasn't even for free.	Heitor Sartorelli	31 August 2016
