The Hotspring Beach Resort Khao Lak was built in 2002 at a spot where thermal springs were discovered some forty years earlier. These springs produce fountains up to 3.5 meters (12 feet) high. From the Airport Phuket the resort can be reached in about 30 minutes drive to Thai Muang (51 km) - approximately 30 km before Khao Lak - in tranquil and natural environment. This unique resort covers a total of 140.000 sqm. The distance to the beach is 400 m (5 minutes walk).
