Novotel Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel is only a five minute walk from the aiport, via a 300 metre underground walkway. The hotel in 2008 celebrated its second anniversary and continued to collect a number of awards and accolades, among them the "Best Airport Hotel" from the TravelWeekly (Asia) Industry Awards in Singapore. The Novotel Suvarnabhumi features 612 rooms in two square-shaped, five-story buildings, which are joined by a massive glass atrium designed as the hotel lobby. Covering 2,800 square meters and five-stories tall, this structure considered the largest hotel lobby in the world. The hotel also features 4 restaurants, 2 bars, a swimming pool, fitness centre and health spa. Banquet and convention facilities include 6 meeting rooms and a 850 square metre ballroom for up to 800 people.
