A Modern Thai-style property set on the southern riverbank on the outskirts of the village some 500 metres down river from the main river - road bridge.

Pool Side Suites : 20 suites in three single storey buildings surround a 6x12m. metre swimming pool. Each suite is app. 48 sq. metres in area and includes a spacious verandah fronting onto the pool. Suites have a sleeping area and lounge area, are air-conditioned and equipped with satellite TV, (7 English language channels) IDD phone, 6 cu.ft. refrigerator. Although designed primary for 2 people they will take an extra bed and have a connecting door to the next suite to enable suites to be easily to modified to accommodate a family of 5-6 people. Bathrooms have a dressing room area, walk in clothes cupboard, hot water shower, washbasin and European style toilet, and are identical to those in our villas. Accommodation & access for the handicapped : One of the Pool Side Suites has an additional bathroom designed specifically for use by the handicapped. Doors are widened to suit and ramp access is provided where necessary. This particular suite is designed as a connecting room.

Table tennis, and a wide range of indoor games; Darts, Table Tennis, Monopoly, Backgammon, Chess etc.

The resort has it’s own gift shop, book exchange, beauty salon and dressmaking shop.

THE BAMBOO MAN ADVENTURE CLUB – An adventure club with its own clubhouse situated on the ground and first floors of the rock climbing wall tower.

The club is for dedicated rock climbing/mountain biking/canoeing/hiking and nature fans, and accepts members from 12 years old upward. It also oversees our CHUAY DUAY – community services programme established for all those actively involved in supporting the community service projects run by Track of the Tiger Tours & Maekok River Village Resort.

The resort also has an organic farming school and is currently involved in the running of ‘3 month organic farming’ courses for the senior students at the local Aids/Hiv orphanage.

The Paddy Fields – seats 60 Upstairs overlooking the river. The Sala Tong Tung – seats 70 overlooks the river and the pool.

Child Policies

Currently no specific policy is available. It's likely that the common policy applies: Children below 12 years of age stay free of charge in their parent's room in a cot/rollaway bed. Breakfast for the child has to be purchased extra. For other children an extra bed has to be booked (Triple Room).
