Mountain Inn with its spacious hall has a flexible layout to accommodate meetings of 150 persons or less in breakout groups and small seminars. Originally built in 1989 as a set and headquarters for the Hollywood movies "Air America" and "The Quest", this fascinating hotel represents the best in Mae Hong Son hospitality and service.
Its unique ambience and attention to detail provides guests with an authentic Mae Hong Son experience.
As its names implies, the Mae Hong Son Mountain Inn & Resort is surrounded by highlands - home to ethnic groups that bring to the valley a colourful way of life and an abundance of culture and handicrafts.
Our rooms and facilities reflect heritage and influence of Mae Hong Son, designs that have been influenced by its Burmese neighbors, the highland communities and traditional Thai craftsmanship. There are 69 spacious rooms - 39 superior, 28 deluxe and two suites. All rooms are equipped with refrigerators, cable TV, stocked mini-bar, air-condition with attached bathrooms with hot and cold shower all first-class amenities.
Guests have a choice of rooms overlooking the garden and river or a view of the mountains that encircle the Mae Hong Son valley. Our suites have their own balconies and dinning area.

Our Sip Song Panna is a modern pub but its decor reflects the highlanders' architecture in colourful fabrics and designs. Fuang Fah is a traditional northern Khan Toke restaurant where we experienced the daily Khan Toke meal with a Thai classical dance show.
Tong Phaya is a picturesque riverside restaurant with views of the surrounding peaks, an ideal venue to enjoy a delicious selection of hilltribe dishes.
Child Policies
Currently no specific policy is available. It's likely that the common policy applies: Children below 12 years of age stay free of charge in their parent's room in a cot/rollaway bed. Breakfast for the child has to be purchased extra. For other children an extra bed has to be booked (Triple Room).
