Koyao Island Resort is located on the Island of Koh Yao Noi, in the Bay of Phang Nga, one hour by boat from Phuket, within a very short distance to the well-known destinations of Koh Bileh islands, Krabi, Phang Nha (James Bond islands), Ao Nang and the Koh Phi Phi beaches. Surrounded by beautiful beaches, untamed rain forests and many uninhabited islands, the Resort is ideally situated for peace and privacy.

Koh Yao Noi is a well-preserved island that will enchant even the most selective and demanding visitors: With 45km2 and approximately 4000 inhabitants, it is one of the largest islands in the region. Here, tourism has not been developed on a large scale: Traditional Thai life style remained unchanged and peace and privacy abound.

Privacy has been carefully taken into account when building only 15 villas along the 250 meters of beach-front. Open living rooms blend in with the luxurious tropical gardens: The design of the villas and the interior decoration graciously integrate the surrounding natural beauty, combining modern comfort with traditional Thai architecture and natural construction materials.

You might want to rent one of the resort's mountain or motorbikes to explore the island. Fishing or snorkeling gear is readily available. We also offer scuba diving with local operators. Our traditional sailing boat transports you smoothly to any spot around the island, while our speedboat can be used by the more impatient explorers. For extended excursions traditional long tail boats are available.

Various guided tours introduce you to the island's botanical treasures and cultural life. Thailand is particularly rich in bird life, ranks first in the world for rice and is the world's largest producer of natural rubber and pineapples. Explore the many hidden caves not yet found on any map. The typical craggy limestone formations, which rise from the sea like sculptures, have taken millions of years to form - and are not to be missed. You might also like to do some romantic beach - hopping or snorkeling around the coral reefs on the lonely neighboring island.

Child Policies

Currently no specific policy is available. It's likely that the common policy applies: Children below 12 years of age stay free of charge in their parent's room in a cot/rollaway bed. Breakfast for the child has to be purchased extra. For other children an extra bed has to be booked (Triple Room).
