The KP Grand Hotel Chanthaburi is a centrally located budget hotel, right in the center of Chanthaburi. The hotel has a generous and lively lobby, a coffee shop with live musice, a full set of facilities, all at a low rate. The town of Chanthaburi is famous for its gemstones and gemstone industry and is well worth a visit of a few days, to experience live in the capital of a wealthy Thai province. The beaches of the Thai east coast are not far away. The hotel would also be ideal for conventions and conferences as Chanthaburi has a full infrastructure and is quite easy to reach from Suvarnabhumi Airport, while still being remote enough to not have too many distractions.
The hotel is very large and a bit worn recently, but rooms are perfectly fine and clean, all at a bargain rate.
