The Baan (pronounced ‘barn’) Thai Wellness Retreat consists of five separate genuine Thai teak homes some dating back over three quarters of a century, loving restored and refurbished to show-case a way of life the few have ever been able to experience, form the basis of this luxurious wellness retreat, by renown cultural interior design expert ML Sudavadee Kriangkrai. Of the 21 rooms and suites available, in seven of these you can experience a spa therapy without having to leave the comfort of your room!

Whether dining in air-conditioned comfort, on the terrace of your room, or in the privacy of your suite, our team of dedicated Thai culinary professionals have prepared an ever changing range of menu offerings, in support of your total wellness. From careful selection of the base ingredients, many from certified organic farms in Thailand, through the preparation and cooking process there is care and a commitment to flavours while retaining respect of the cultural integratity of Thai cuisine. Not all dishes can be successfully adapted to a healthier style of eating, so these have been deleted from our repertoire, but what remains are some of the most vivid tasting and intense culinary delights that you have ever experienced. Other less traditional menu offerings and dishes from other nations also grace our menus, but the vast majority have their birthplace and heart, in the kingdom of Thailand.

We serve a wide range of wines and champagnes with dinner but offer a full range of other fresh fruit and vegetable juices, herbal tisanes, tonics and elixirs throughout the day. "Life is to enjoy and food is part of life."
