Hotel Omega Amsterdam is a small, 3-star hotel in a quiet area in Amsterdam-Zuid.Hotel Omega is an ideal base for various tourist attractions in Amsterdam. 2.5 star rating	Iwell located by the main concerthall. The number 16 tram takes you into the centre in about ten minutes. It is quiet and generally comfortable in a tarnished, old fashioned and musty . This is my third and last visit to this hotel. I have been there 3 times because it is reasonably priced.	On this occasion one two or ( at best ) 3 rooms were occupied which probably explains why the scrambled eggs were pretty cold and uninviting. Ditto the sausages. I was there on 3 nights and on two mornings there was bacon as well: cold, undercooked, fatty. On two occasions I had to ask for a cup into which I could pour my coffee. None had been put out for the guests which I found to be particularly bad. My bathroom did not include a beaker which I had to get for myself from the "restaurant". On all mornings there was no serving spoon for me to help myself to the tinned fruit. My bed was not made as such. It looked to me as if someone had just adjusted the pillow and sheeting minimally and then covered the lot with the bedcover. I gave this the benefit of the doubt on day one and two and it so annoyed me that my bed had not been smoothed that, on the third day I took everything off the bed so that it had to be made properly. It was, after a fashion.		26 January 2009

4.0 star rating	We had a lovely time in this Hotel, price was not that bad so we expected worse. We stayed there from wednesday til Friday, it was not noisy. Room was clean and not too small. There was a fridge for food. Breakfast was basic and simple, but nice. Staff was friendly. Location was okey, it is close to the museums and Leidseplein but quite far from everything else. ( like 30min walking to more to the centre). This is not a problem however, walking through the canals is nice and many trams go close by the Hotel.		NimetÃ¶n	01 June 2014

2.5 star rating	Gode senger, rent sengetÃ¸y, rent og greit bad med rene hÃ¥ndklÃ¦r. Flott beliggenhet, meget sentralt. Rolig og stille strÃ¸k. Lite trafikk og lite brÃ¥k. Sykkelutleie pÃ¥ hotellet.	Det fÃ¸rste rommet vi ble tildelt var svÃ¦rt slitt, en smal dobbeltseng til tross for at jeg hadde bestilt twin standard bed. Rommet var svÃ¦rt lite og vinduet var spikret/skrudd igjen, og kunne ikke Ã¥pnes. DÃ¸ra pÃ¥ minibaren/kjÃ¸lskap falt av nÃ¥r den ble Ã¥pnet og den virket ikke. Vi fikk heldigvis byttet til et annet rom, der vinduet kunne Ã¥pnes, men da kunne det ikke lukkes igjen, sÃ¥ det sto Ã¥pent under hele oppholdet. Frokosten var svÃ¦rt enkel. 4.0 star rating	Staff were very helpful after a number of requests made, they were happy to help with all our needs and kept a happy face throughout. Shower was good and had a good room setup too in the double bed room.	Could do with a fresher look but was still a good hotel. The restaurant is pretty much only open for breakfast. 3.5 star rating	Room was grand, nothing fancy but quite clean. Bed was very confortable though 2 single feather duvets on a double bed was a bit strange. Towels changed every day. Hot shower was excellent. Very close to the number 16 tram into centre of Amsterdam. Buffet style free breakfast was excellent witb bread, croissants, boiled eggs, cold meats and cheese and as much tea, coffee and fruit juoce as you want.		Beaker Ireland	06 November 2016
