 Unfortunately this was one of the most expensive and worst places we stayed in on our Europe Trip. We scored bedroom number two on the bottom floor and immediately we could smell something bizarre to which as soon as we opened the bathroom, realised it was a mouldy kind of smell from the pipes/plumbing. The bed was fine...sleepable at night with the bathroom door closed but, because of the smell from the bathroom, we felt we couldn't stay at this hotel for longer than half an hour at a time. The staff weren't that accommodating...almost seemed like they knew themselves it wasn't great but they were getting the money for it so who cares? Not sure if it's just a paris accommodation thing but we paid a lot less everywhere else in Europe for 3 star hotels and they were 5 star compared to this one! Hopefully for everyone else's sake we just scored a bad room and the rest of the hotel isn't like this!21 October 2013
