The Veranda Chiang Mai -The High Resort and Spa is located outside the city of Chiang Mai and away from the crowds, traffic and occasional pollution of central Chiang Mai. The resort emphasises calm, aethetics and the meditation of beauty, aiming to create an immersive Zen-like experience right from the guests' arrival at the hotel. The resort is divided into two zones, on one side representing the cultural heritage of the North and the other a contemporary, modern style. The Veranda is a boutique northern retreat of just 69 rooms, creating an environment of calm and relaxation, offering an ideal base for exploring Chiang Mai and the surrounding valley.
A choice of 69 rooms with 4 categories, set on the valley slope all with stunning views over the landscape with natural mountain streams, rice and tea terraces, and the most inventive fun water features. Rooms have either king or twin beds, covered with comfort duvets, open style bathrooms and a large private balcony with day beds ideal for those special moments.

A range of educational toys and daily programs of indoor and outdoor activities to entertain your child, giving parents peace of mind for a shopping trip in town or enjoy a spa treatment.

- Swimming Pool - Veranda High infinity edged Pool is on the roof terrace of the main building over looking the valley. A swim with the ultimate view. Sun lounges provide a perfect place to enjoy a cool cocktail or a quiet nap. A children’s pool is also available for the young guests.
- Yoga Class - Join yoga classes in the morning or late afternoon at the open air temple pavilion with a professional yoga instructor.
- Cultural Pavilion - Join in daily fun activities, learn the art of Thai cooking, basket weaving, flower garland making or fruit carving. Private tuition in traditional Thai music can also be arranged.
- Meeting and Banquets - Conference facilities for groups from 10 to 200 people are available in a choice of three rooms. Special theme parties can be arranged at a variety of locations around the resort to suit the style of function.
- Airport and Chiang Mai Shuttle Service - Arrange a pick up or send off service to Chiang Mai. International Airport directly with the hotel, or take the Veranda's own scheduled mini bus service into Chiang Mai city for shopping and sightseeing.
