The resort is located just 20 minutes by car from Krabi International Airport. It is set in a mountainous area on the Chong Pli road, just a few minutes from Ao Nang Beach, which can be easily reached using the hotel's free shuttle bus.The resort offers beautifully decorated guest rooms, which have been designed with guests' comfort and relaxation in mind. It comprises a total of 30 guest rooms, spread over 2 floors. Guests can check in around the clock. Further facilities include a lobby, a hotel safe, a restaurant, conference facilities and Internet access (charges apply).The hotel offers 30 air-conditioned rooms, each with a private balcony. They range from the ultimate superior and family rooms, which open out onto a rainforest garden and look out over the stunning hills, to the queen-size bedrooms, where satin-smooth woodwork and sumptuous levels of comfort are combined with modern amenities. Each room comes complete with a shower, a satellite/cable television, Internet access, a safe, a minibar, tea and coffee making facilities and individually adjustable air conditioning.There is an outdoor swimming pool on the hotel grounds. Guests can treat themselves to a soothing massage on site.The hotel offers breakfast, lunch and dinner.If arriving by plane: the flight from Bangkok to Krabi Airport takes just over 1 hour. It is 20 minutes to the resort from Krabi Airport along a scenic route with views of the palm trees and rubber plantations. By bus: take the bus from the southern bus terminal in Bangkok. It takes around 11 hours to reach Krabi Bus Terminal. From here take the local minibus to Ao Nang Beach, a journey of approximately 35 minutes.

2.0 star rating		Dear Sirs, I am writing to you to express my disappointment at using you for the first time. I booked a one week stay at the Krabi Phupranang resort which was advertised as being "A few minutes from the beach" and found that hotel was actually 2km. away. My wife and I decided that we would rebook to another hotel nearer the beach the following day, but, as it was late we could not do anything at that time. We told the receptionist that we would book out on Friday the 10th as, although a shuttle service was provided to the beach, that it was not turning out to be the holiday that we had booked. I phoned Vicki on Wednesday the 8th to explain our dissatisfaction of the location of the resort and was told by her that if we wanted to rebook to another resort, that we would have to arrange the accommodation ourselves and we would receive a refund for the nights that we had not spent at the Phupranang resort, although there may be a cancellation fee. We checked out of the Phupranang resort on Thursday the 9th and booked ourselves into another resort on Ao Nang beach (where we thought we were originally staying). I phoned today to check on where the refund was and after being bumped off the number we had originally called (now emergency's only) and been put on hold for 40 minutes, found out that if a refund is required, we would have to contact yourselves via e-mail. I wish that this had been explained the me in the first case and I found Antonia not just unhelpful, but antagonistic as well, Not only did she interrupt me but said "Super Fantastico" while I was explaining that she should not speak over a customers voice. Not only do I expect a refund for the nights at the hotel were we did stay there, I expect compensation for the phone calls I have had to make from abroad the enquire about my refund.
