3.5 star rating	Da das Zimmer im Hinterhof lag, war es sehr ruhig. Das Personal achtete auÃerdem darauf, dass die Nachtruhe eingehalten wurde (SchÃ¼lergruppen). Insgesamt war das Personal sehr hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich.	interessant renoviert		17 May 2011

2.5 star rating	U-Bahnstation direkt vor der TÃ¼r- 3 Stationen bis Hbh. FriedrichstaÃe	Hotel im Stil einer Jugendherberge, wird fast ausschlieÃlich von Jugendgruppen bewohnt, die auch nachts keine Ruhe finden. Auch das Umfeld des Hotels ist gewÃ¶hnungsbedÃ¼rftig, unbewohnte HÃ¤user, Investruinen der THG, hier ist noch tiefster Osten. .		11 May 2012
4.5 star rating	My "single ensuite" had a single bed, 3 sets of bunks (in 3 rooms; each with TV and wardrobe), a kitchenette with fridge, cooking rings and cupboards, and a very good ensuite with bath and shower. All very clean and reasonably comfortable - and of course no noise from the next room! Plenty of hot water; good shower. The WiFi worked, the front desk was always manned, the attached bistro sold superb pizza, salad etc at very reasonable cost and the hotel is adjacent to the Ubahn. Because it is built round internal courtyards there was no traffic noise at all. Breakfast was good and fresh. Staff friendly and informal. They hire bikes by the day, though I did not do this. Absolutely excellent place to stay; I highly recommend for anyone wanting a really good budget stay - but don't expect The Ritz.	I was right to bring my own travel kettle and toiletries. The mattress was a bit spartan. Real orange juice would have been nicer for breakfast, but there was plenty else to make up for it. Several floors and no lift - not a problem for me but request a ground floor room if it is a problem for you; there seem to be lots. .	Lorna	09 May 2012
1.5 star rating	Ich kann nichts Positives Ã¼ber dieses Hotel berichten!	Ãber das Internet hatte ich im "City 54 Hotel und Hostel" eine Ãbernachtung gebucht, da die dort gezeigten Bilder und Beschreibungen von diesem Hotel fÃ¼r einen Preis von â¬ 50 recht ansprechend waren. Bei meiner Ankunft wurde mir vom dortigen Personal mitgeteillt, dass aufgrund einer randalierenden Schulklasse, mein gebuchtes Zimmer nicht beziehbar sei und man mir eine vergleichbare (?!) Alternative suchen wÃ¼rde. Wir verstÃ¤ndigten uns darauf, dass ich bis zum spÃ¤ten Abend ein neues Zimmer haben wÃ¼rde und ich mir in der Zwischenzeit Berlin anschauen kÃ¶nnte. Nachdem ich um 22 Uhr im "City 54 Hotel und Hostel" ankam wurde mir ein neues Hotel, das "Amadeus Hostel", zugewiesen. Dies spottete jeder Beschreibung! Ein derart heruntergekommenes Hotel habe ich noch nie erlebt und mÃ¶chte dies auch niemandem zumuten. Ein schÃ¤biges Treppenhaus und muffige Flure, ein dreckiges Zimmer und Bad, ein nich funktionierender Fernseher und ein FrÃ¼hstÃ¼ckbÃ¼ffet, das diesen Namen nicht verdient. Die Frage die sich mir stellt: " Werden Touristen ganz bewuÃt mit einem nett erscheinendem Hotel, das wenig kostet, gekÃ¶dert, um sie dann unter fragwÃ¼rdigen UmstÃ¤nden in diese Absteige abzuschieben?" Das "Amadeus Hostel" ist aus meiner Sicht unter aller Sau!!! Note: 6-!!!	Berlin Tourist	30 April 2013
