Baan Laksasubha Hua Hin is a newer, fresher addition to the accommodation choices in Hua Hin, focussing on families with a clear boutique concept and a great beach location. A free-form pool area is the communal center of the resort that is laid back and eminently family-friendly. The entire resort has reliable and strong free Wi-Fi access whether you're lounging at the pool or enjoy a drink at te restaurant. The designs realized around the resort are of a Zen-like quality with certain colonial and Victorian touches gleaned from the adjacent Railway Hotel Hua Hin, now branded as the Sofitel Hua Hin. Other highlights include the beachside Costanera restaurant serving Meditteranean, Italian and Thai-fusion cuisine. As a side-note: While Laksasubha is the complete Sanskrit transliteration often found in anglicised Thai, the more common pronunciation in Thai is Lak-Su-Ba. This may be important when the taxi driver doesn't understand where you're going.
