General Overview:

Rayang Island Resort is a 15 bungalow resort on the small island of Koh Ranang which lies just over 1km off the west coast of Koh Mak.  This is the only resort on the island and has 15 bungalows, some with one bedroom, others with two.  The resort has electricity but the bungalows don't have airconditioning.  A fan and sea breeze are all that you need to sleep comfortably.

This isn't a place for anyone looking to be pampered, but if you want to get as far away from the noise and crowds of everyday life as possible then Rayang Resort is for you.

Bungalows are built only a stones throw from the white sand beach beach and there's a small restaurant at the resort.  A free boat service to Koh Mak is also provided as are sea canoes.

Room Information:

There are 16 detached bungalows at the Koh Rayang Resort. They are dispersed from the bottom of the hill all over the shady slope. The whole bungalow resort was renovated in 2006. All bungalows have a private balcony, double or single beds, ventilators and bathrooms with showers and European toilets.
There are 8 single bungalows and 8 double bungalows. The double bungalows are ideal for families, with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and 1 terrace.
All bungalows are built from wood. Due to noise reduction and better climates the Thai typical palm roofs are put over the normal roofs.

Facilities Information:

In the newly built restaurant you can enjouy Thai specialities and fresch seafood while watching the beautiful view over Ko Mak. Some European dishes are also available including BBQ and a European breakfast.
On the hill behind the restaurant there is a beautiful, romantic viewpoint where you can enjoy your candlelight dinner undisturbed …

The Koh Rayang Resort is the perfect place for relaxation and recovery. Withl beach parasols and beach chairs available for the guests.

Besides reading, swimming and snorkeling, volleyball or football can be played at the shady sandy area in front of the restaurant. Also kayaks can be rented at the Koh Rayang Resort to discover this beautiful island. Snorkel equipment can also be rented and the guests can travel to Ko Mak via ferry for a relaxing day trip.

The building beside the restaurant is used as the internet-café, books and games can be rented and films can be viewed there.
