General Overview
Sofitel Raja Orchid is in Khon Kaen, just 40 minutes flight from Bangkok in the heart of Thailand's northeastern region. The hotel features 244 rooms and 48 suites with a remote console to control the lighting, room temperature and television. The Life Style Health Centre facilities include a swimming pool with underwater speakers, gym equipment, an aerobics room, sauna and body treatment programs. Sofitel Raja Orchid also boasts the largest entertainment complex in the region.

 The hotel offers various sizes of room from Superior to Executive Suite. All rooms have IDD phones, Internet access, a large marble bathroom and traditional Isaan design. Our Deluxe rooms and above provide coffee/tea making facilities.

The Grand Orchid Ballroom can accommodate up to 1,800 guests with a theater layout or over 900 guests for a sit-down dinner. The hotel's 10 meeting rooms cater for various sizes of meetings, events and seminars from 10 to 200 guests. The 600m², 2-story five-bedroom Presidential suite is located on the top floor. The suite's lavish decor is a combination of rich Thai silk, hand-woven cotton and teakwood. This suite is a private haven for CEOs and Government Delegates.
